Here at Sorila, we believe you should know what happens with your data when you sign up for our waitlist at sorila.dev. We value your trust and privacy, and below we will detail exactly what happens to your data. This privacy policy also covers "Sorila Admin" in this document, also referred to as "Admin" or "Admin Panel", found at admin.sorila.dev.

1. What data we collect.

1.1. Sorila Waitlist

We only collect your email, provided you have entered it on our homepage.

1.2 Sorila Admin (After Login)

We collect your IP address once you successfully sign in on Sorila Admin. This IP address is stored permanently and provides a detailed estimated location, which includes, but is not limited to, Country, County / State / Province, and City or Town. This data is visible to administrators via the portal.

1.3 Automatic Connection Verification (VPN Check)

As soon as you visit any Sorila site, our servers temporarily process your IP address to check if you are using a VPN (Virtual Private Network), which are prohibited for safety. This specific IP check is completely automated; no human sees this data, your location is not resolved, and the IP is only held for a few seconds to match against VPN databases before being discarded. It is not permanently stored in our active administration logs.

2. What we use your data for.

2.1 Sorila Waitlist

We use your email exclusively to send you product-related emails - this includes Updates, New Products & New Features. We send a maximum of 2 of these types of emails per week - we will never spam.

2.2 Sorila Admin

We use your IP address exclusively for security. Sorila Admin is a sensitive platform that requires maximum security. If an unauthorised IP tries to access the Admin Portal, we reserve the right to ban your IP address from accessing any Sorila-related service. We also look up incoming IPs on any Sorila site to check if they have been previously banned.

3. Legal basis for processing.

3.1 Sorila Waitlist

We process your data based on your explicit Consent. Consent is provided by completing the form & inputting your email address.

3.2 Sorila Admin & Verification

We process your data based on your explicit Consent and our legitimate interest in securing our infrastructure. Consent for IP tracking is given by logging into the Admin platform or accessing our network.

4. Third-Party Sharing & Email Infrastructure.

We do not use any third-party email platforms or external marketing services to manage our list. All notifications and updates are sent directly through our own in-house infrastructure, Sorila Mail. Absolute control remains within our system, and none of your data ever leaves us.

5. Your Rights & Choice to Opt-Out.

You retain full control over your personal data. At any point, you have the right to request access to the information we hold about you or request its permanent erasure from our systems.

5.1 How to Unsubscribe

If you no longer wish to receive updates from the Sorila Waitlist, you can opt out at any time. Every email sent via Sorila Mail contains a direct, immediate "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the message. Clicking this link instantly removes your address from our active mailing queue.
